4. Cookies and the Meta pixel

Our website uses a few functional cookies and similar storage that are needed for the site to work, for example to remember your cookie choice. These are always on.

With your permission we also use the Meta pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms that places cookies to measure our advertising: for example whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to sign up. The Meta pixel only loads after you click Accept in our cookie banner. If you click Decline, it does not load and we remove Meta’s cookies from our domain.

Some pages show content from other services, such as a testimonials widget or an embedded registration form. These services may set their own cookies, as described in their own privacy policies.

You can change your choice at any time via (also at the bottom of every page). We remember your choice for 6 months, after which we ask again.

5. Advertising measurement with Meta

If you accepted cookies, we share the following with Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. when you sign up for a masterclass, start a free trial of Rich Girl Academy, make your first payment or renew your membership: the type of event, its date and time, the amount paid (for payments), your email address and name in hashed (scrambled) form, the Meta browser and click IDs, and your browser type. We send this partly from your browser (the Meta pixel) and partly from our own systems (Meta’s Conversions API), with a shared reference so Meta does not count anything twice.

Meta uses this to tell us how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested. For this part, Meta and we are jointly responsible. More information is in Meta’s privacy policy.

If you did not accept cookies, we do not share these events or your details with Meta, also not from our own systems. Withdrawing your consent via Cookie settings stops future sharing.

6. Who we share data with

We never sell your data. We use trusted providers (“processors”) that process data on our behalf and under our instructions, such as:

Meta receives data as described in section 5, only with your consent. If you join our WhatsApp community, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your data under its own terms, and other members can see your phone number and name. We also share data where the law requires it, for example with the tax authorities or our accountant.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Some of our providers are based in the United States or store data there. In those cases we rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data stays protected to European standards.

8. How long we keep your data

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

Email team@ifiwasarichgirl.nl to use these rights. We respond within one month. Before we act on a request, we may check that it really comes from you, so we never give your data to someone else.

10. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data: our tools are accessed only by people who need them, accounts are secured with strong passwords and two-step verification where available, and our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. If a change matters for you, we will tell you by email or on our website.

12. Contact and complaints
